CSSC camp---part 1
On 27th to 30th (4 days 3 night) i went for the CSCC ( Community Service and Cultural Club) camp. Haha, if you know me well, the first question you will want to ask me is "Why did you join the camp? I thought you don't like such things?" Yeah, well the maybe you are right, i don't especially enjoy camps or activities like that, but since a lot of my friends are also signing up, i tagged along, i thought to myself that it was a good oppourtinity to be aquintainted with more people in SP too.
The first day of the camp was quite tiring. First we gathered in SP (Singapore Polytechnic) and played some ice-breaking games. When all the campers had arrived, we were splitted into groups. For a moment, i thought that so many of my friends came to this camp, surely most of us will be in the same group, yet after the groups were divided, i found out that onli Sin Yee and Yan Qian were in my group. Inintally i had thought that it was just coincidence or some would call it "suai" but i found out there were other *external factors* which i will disclose later in this post :p
We were introduced to our GL (Group Leaders) whom we refered to as our Mother and Father or Papa and Mummy. My Pa and Ma are Chong Ming and Jing Wen. Yes, they are both very caring and helpful throughout the whole camp. ^^ (so lucky~!)
And thus we begun the Long, fun-filled, exciting, exhuasting and bone-breaking camp! The first activity of the camp was to create a flag for our team, by the way, my team is Banshee ^^, (i'am mighty proud to be a member of Banshee, just for your info). Yes, you might think that making a camp flag? No big deal, easy like a piece of cake. Well if you think that is true you are in for a harsh time *evil smile*
The teams were not given all the materials needed to make the flag directly, we have to "request" for the materials from the GP (Game Personales). The GPs will ask us to perform in any manner you can think of before "granting" us the materials. If i were to list out all the "performances" we did, it would make this long post even longer so i will skip it and instead just list some of the few more "memorable" ones. One of which is to sit in a straight line, male and females alternating and then lie down on each other stomache and finally taking a picture. Although it might not sound hard (actually it is not) it is quite embarassing =.='. Another which is also quite unforgettable is that while painting the flag, music is played. If you were thinking that the GLs were so kind as to let us listen to the music while painting, you are terribely wrong. When the music stops, our hands, feet, the whole body has to stop to, no campers are to move if not we will receive "BattleScars"-- the GLs will paint us >.< . If you think that is all, it isn't ! The Gls will try all means to make you laugh in order to brush the slimy, sticky paintbrush on you.
After that arduous task, we went to wash our hands ( or in the case of others, places that were painted--- including legs, body or wherever) and have our meals.
Alright this post is long enough already I'll leave the rest of the post till next time ^^.
PS: I didn't bring my camera along so i didn't take any pictures, but i know friends who did, so i have to see if i can get my hands on those pictures before i can post it. Wish me luck!
